I've been building websites since the mid-90s. My grandma began learning how to build websites as a way to connect to her genealogy friends and colleagues. As she learned more, she got me excited and tried to teach me some of the most basic things. I was hooked. Over the years, it went from a hobby to a side hustle to a full-time gig. Throughout that time, I've learned so much about various internet technologies and have seen the good and bad of how folks use the internet to achieve marketing goals.
